Teddy Rocks!

Hi guys!
So today I decided I'd blog. What about? Teddy Rocks 2016!

Over the may bank holiday, I have been at Teddy Rocks. Teddy Rocks is a charity festival in aid of Ted Newton. It is all about beating childrens cancer with rock. Ted Newton is a cancer victim who died in 2010 at the age of eleven. Since then, his family set up a charity called Teddy 20 and began Teddy Rocks in 2012.

This year it has really grown, what with taking place on the flood grounds of my town and The Hoosiers playing on Friday 29th April. The Hoosiers are a famous band who wrote the song 'Goodbye Mr A'.

Along with many other bands, Teddy Rocks was a really great experience.

Friday: Teddy Rocks began and I saw The Hoosiers. I was even at the barriers for 2/3 of it. Then, like you do, I needed the loo so my dad took me and we were at the back. Nevertheless, For the last few songs (including Goodbye Mr A) I was propped on my dad's shoulders boogie-ing away. (sorry for the back ache the next day, dad)

Saturday: saw a few local bands, nothing special. Don Broco performed that night but I didn't go down to see it.

Sunday: I went down in the evening and saw loads of reggae and ska bands which were very good. That night saw Gentlemens Dub who also were a reggae band.

Monday: went down at one o'clock and rocked out till five. Saw some bands and took a good interest to the acoustic stage.

So. That was my jam-packed weekend at Teddy Rocks! I will leave the headliners twitters and Teddy Rocks' website.

Tell me what you think in the comments below.

Love,
Scarlett xx

PS: SATs start on monday! Nervous!

BTW: Teddy Rocks almost raised £43,000 this year! WOOOOO!

Revision Tips!

Dear reader,
So, as you may or may not know I am sitting my year six SATs in May so I thought I'd do a little revision guide to lead me through the next three weeks until SATs (scary I know).

- SATs are a group of exams year sixes take. The new curriculum means that year sixes have to learn a LOT more than past year sixes and it is harder than its ever been.

  • Revise! I know it's very very obvious but I personally think that revising actually DOES secures you with a better grade. Even if its just a little brain-teaser every evening, it will pay off for your SATs. You should pass your exams with flying colours help to a little revision.
  • Keep hydrated. I find that I can't do exams if I'm crawling for a cup of water. Make sure you've had plenty to drink and eat before the big day.
  • Even if you don't get a very good score I always think back to what I got last time. Don't worry how many you got incorrect, just see if you've improved in places. That's what I do, at least.
  • Strive for success. Always challenge yourself to harder sums to ensure you know how to do them.
  • Ask for help. I always find it REALLY hard to merely raise your hand for it to be read to you by a teacher or assistant. Of course, they won't tell you the answer, but just them reading the question to you might make you understand it more.

That's all for now so I really hope this helped some of you in some peculiar way!
Bye,
Scarlett xx

How to Have an Amazing Sleepover | Guide

Dear Reader,
Hi again today I am going to be blogging about how to have a fabulous sleepover.

Step 1) Sweets!
Have plenty of sweets in store and get hyper!

Step 2) Makeovers!
It's always great to do a funny old makeover, blindfolded or not. This really gets the sleepover spirit going.

Step 3) Pillow fights!
Always a great party starter by throwing pillows at each other. Be sure to be careful whilst doing so as I almost broke my neck!

Step 4) Music!
I feel this plays a huge part in a sleepover. Slap on some music and get partying!

Step 5) Food!
I think that a sleepover would be rubbish without food. Whether it's some snacks or a full-on dinner, it should always be fun.

Step 6) Movies!
When the sun is setting and you're finally calming down, a movie is just what you and your friends need. Some down time, get cosy with some cute candles and a good movie and mabye even fall asleep!

Step 7) Get some sleep!
Even if you go to bed in the early hours, getting some sleep is still very important. After all, you don't want to be tired and grumpy the next day!

Step 8) Have Fun!
The most important point - have fun!

Hope you enjoyed this blog and, if you did, let me know in the comments below!
Till Then,
Scarlett xx

Small Collective Haul

Dear Reader,
So finally I'm back her, blogging. Today I'm blogging about some items I bought today when I went shopping. All of these things come from either Asda or Primark.

  1. The first thing I bought was from Asda. It is a Colgate Plax soft mint mouthwash as I've run out of my current one. It is a different brand as opposed to my other one so I'm excited to start using this.
  2. The second item is from Primark. It is a six pack of earrings. The first pair are just some gold spheres, nothing fancy. There are two of that style in the pack. The next pair is the emoji of the monkey with it's hand on its mouth. The one after that is the emoji with the sunglasses on. The other one is the crying/laughing emoji and the last pair are the emoji where it's kind of kissing one side. They look so cool and I'm already wearing a pair.
  3. The next thing I bought was also from Primark and it is a black choker (£1.50) with some little coloured balls in between the patterns.
  4. I also got a true top from Primark. It is pale pink and has a two-sided sequin embroidery on it. the first side says "FASHION" whereas the second side says "BLOGGER"! THis is so true and I can't wait to wear it.
  5. Next, I bought a plain white cropped top from Primark. It is quite short but I think it'll look good with some shorts come summer.
  6. In addition, I got a black lacy kimono from Primark. My sister has the whie version but I preferred the black.
  7. After that I got another lacy cropped top which is black and has holes in it. This I think will also look fab with some denim shorts or jeans.
So there, I think that's everything.
If you liked this then please comment down below to say you did and mabye even comment what your favourite item is.
Until then, bye,
Scarlett xx

It's Half Term

Dear Reader,
I shall now announce that it is half term! I'm so happy to be out of school for nine days and it's my birthday next Sunday!
I'll tell you what I'm doing over the half term.

So. On the 13th (today) I'm going shopping. Then on Tuesday my sister is having a friend round for a sleepover. Then, on Friday 19th I'm having my birthday party. We're going swimming at the local swimming pool and then they're coming back to my house for pizza.

The day after that I'm going to a Italian restaurant with my parents, my dad's best friend, ny dad's best friends wife and their sons Luke and Ben.

The day after that it's my birthday!!

I'm so excited to see what I get for my birthday and I'll definitely post about what I got and might even do a YouTube video.

Personally, I think a have a good half term planned out and what would make it better is some occasional trips downtown with my friends. They're great fun.

That's all for now,
Sassy Scarlett xx 💕

My Saturday/Sunday Morning Routine

Dear Reader,
Today I've decided to routine blog. It is basically my general weekend routine.
Enjoy...

The picture above was taken at about half seven maybe eight. It is of me getting my puppy, Belle, up. I basically just opened her crate and let her stretch.

Next, I chuck Belle out into the garden so she can deposit her waste.

So then after that I give Belle a cuddle and change her water.

Then Katherine comes downstairs and as you can see, Belle is very happy to see her.

We then take Belle up to Katherine's room and cuddle her there.

We turn on the television and pop on music channel.

With the music still on, I practice some of my keyboard. at the minute I'm practising Ode To Joy.

I then get changed, clean my teeth and have my breakfast. Then I put on the television again but this time downstairs. On the day I took the picture I was watching Jim Chapman's documentary called The Rise Of The Superstar Vloggers. It is amazeballs.

After that I just got on with the rest of my day and didn't take any more pictures.

So there you go. My weekend morning routine. I hope you enjoyed.
Bye,
Sassy Scarlett xx

Fifteen Personal Facts About Me

Dear Diary,
Today I thought I'd do a more personal blog. So I've decided to write a 'fifteen facts about me' blog.
I've chosen to only do fifteen facts because I'm writing these from the top of my head. And I won't be too personal because I've no idea who reads this... well one-hundred and forty people.
Lets get started.

  1. My birthday is on the twenty-first of February. Very soon, I know.
  2. My middle name is Annabel. Like the creepy terrorist doll?
  3. I have a fear/phobia of heights. Thanks Dad, your genetics are great.
  4. My favourite flower is probably either a fuchsia or a camelia.
  5. I have five Best Friends. They are called Rosema, Harriet, Melissa, Kayleigh (Chummy) and Freda.
  6. I do not belong to any religion.
  7. I am clumsy and sometimes lie a bit. Not on the blog, though.
  8. I also have a fear of mean dentists. I've had experience with them.
  9. I am utterly and happily single.
  10. My favourite school subject is music.
  11. I have a celebrity crush on Theo James and a bit of a crush on Justin Bieber.
  12. My idols include Zoella, Michael Jackson and Jess Glynne.
  13. As my friends know, I am utterly obsessed with singing. I sing when I come into the classroom after break-time and I sing during lessons, too.
  14. I have a eight month old puppy called Belle who is a girl pedigree Border Terrier.
  15. And lastly, I love fashion, makeup and my hair.
So there you go, fifteen facts about me. I spent some time on it so I hope you like it. Let me know in the comments below if you have any blog suggestions.

Thankyou for all for reading,
Love and kisses,
Sassy Scarlett xx

Thank You!

Dear Reader,
I would like to donate this the one-hundred and three people who have viewed one or more of my posts. I never thought I would get this far in four days! I had been running my anonymous blog for at least a month before I got to one-hundred views so this has come as a huge shock to me.

This then brings me to my next, show me that you read my blog. How can you do this? All it takes is just a comment about my blog or simply being active whilst on my blog or YouTube channel.
Anyway, I am extremely thankful and so I decided to dedicate a blog towards it. I guess you just have to believe.

I used to believe in fairies and the Easter bunny. I still wish I could go back to believing in them. But then I'd have no space to catch my other beliefs. I still believe I have the talent to become a worldwide singer who can sell out Madison Square Garden. I believe in my channel.

I believe in myself just as much as I believe in you guys, my audience. I couldn't ask for a better spectators.

Is there anything you believe in?

If there is, tell me about it in the comments below. I'd love to hear about it.

Till next time,
Sassy Scarlett xxx

My Christmas 2015

Dear Reader,
Again, I'm sorry that this is so late but seeing as I've only just started this blog, it can't be helped.
Below should be some of the pictures I got from Christmas. I had a great Christmas with all my family. That includes my uncle, auntie, parent, cousins, grandparents and my siblings. A full house, you could say!

So they're most of the pictures I captured last Christmas.
I hope you enjoyed scanning through them!

See you,
Sassy Scarlett xx

My January Favourites

Dear Reader,
I truly hope you don't mind me posting a favourites blog before January ends. I was just thinking of a blog post to create when it came into my mind. But anyway, if you don't know what Monthly Favourites are, they are when somebody like me posts a blog or YouTube video showing you what their favourite items of the month have been.
So here's mine.

1. First up belongs to the category 'Books.' It is a series by Sophie McKenzie called 'Flynn.' I recommend it because it is about a girl called River who falls in love for a boy called Flynn who is extremely intense and their love has twists and turns. It is a four book series and aimed at teenagers. I enjoyed it so much I've read the series more than once! The books in the series are listed below.

  • Falling Fast
  • Burning Bright
  • Casting Shadows
  • Defy The Stars
All very interesting titles if you ask me.

2. This next favourite is in the group 'Makeup.' I don't see myself as someone who owns a lot of makeup. But I sure do love it. It is the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in the shade '107.' I also like '111' but '107' is probably my ultimate favourite. It is a stunning berry-red colour and, if you can, I would totally invest in buying it.

3. Moving swiftly on, this product is a great conditioner. It is the Alberto Balsam conditioner in 'coconut and lychee.' It smells amazing and works into your hair easily.

4. Moving on but staying in the same kind of category, this item is a shampoo. Again, it is by Alberto Balsam, but it is in the scent 'tea tree tingle.' This is great if you've had head lice like me and it keeps them away. Don't worry, I had nits a long long time again and I am definitely free of them, not a nit in sight.

5. Another favourite, this is the Batiste dry shampoo in the scent 'Tropical.' I certainly praise Batiste as they are a very successful brand of dry shampoo. If you get a chance to pick some of this stuff up, I would.

6. Finally, my last recommendation is TK-Max's paddle brush in the look 'Hippy Waves.' The look is very bright and cheerful; I love paddle brushes because they get all the knots out of your hair.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and shall hopefully be doing another soon. Again, I would definitely pick some of these products up as you will not be fooled.

See you soon,
Sassy Scarlett xxx

Welcome

Dear Reader,

I'm Sassy Scarlett and I am a YouTuber, Blogger and a piece of social media. I wanted to start a blog as I've done a few in the past but never got round to regularly posting. This blog is like a super-late New Year Resolution. I am utterly obsessed with YouTube, make-up and fashion. I want to insert baking in there but I'm mostly rubbish at it.
But anyway, my future hopes for this blog is that I shall post once a week at least and someone will actually read it. no hopes for that last one though!

I well and truly hope you like my blog and that you stick around.
Many thanks,
Sassy Scarlett xx
